Mission 48
For the kick-off of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, footpack. and Intersport brought Mission 48 to life, a Parisian pop-up designed to extend a quest carried out over several weeks on footpack.'s social media channels. The goal was simple in its formulation, but ambitious in its execution: gathering the jerseys of all 48 nations qualified for the 2026 World Cup, while telling the stories, encounters and exchanges born around each shirt. Set up at Nueve in Paris, the activation took the form of a public exhibition open from Tuesday June 9 to Friday June 12, 2026. Football fans, collectors, jersey enthusiasts and curious visitors could discover the national team kits all gathered in one space. Beyond the exhibition itself, the Mission 48 pop-up was conceived as an event activation capable of bringing a digital adventure off the screen and into a physical space dedicated to kit culture, sports marketing and football passion. To bring life to the week, several community moments accompanied the experience: a World Cup LEGO build, and a watching party for the opening match between Mexico and South Africa. These highlights reinforced the collective dimension of the project, turning Mission 48 into a meeting point for the footpack. community, Intersport audiences and football lovers alike.
