The Bureau of Legends
To mark the 125th anniversary of Stade Rennais FC, SPK conceived and produced, alongside the club and PUMA, a dedicated video content piece to accompany the reveal of the anniversary kit. Rather than telling the club's story head-on, the setup was built on a simple yet powerful idea: exploring what makes a legend in football. This approach allowed the activation to sit within a register that was at once heritage-driven, emotional, and accessible, connecting the club's legacy to a key communications moment around the kit. The initial recommendation already expressed this ambition to create content capable of putting past, present, and collective memory in dialogue, with an anniversary tone and strong human embodiment. It is within this framework that The Bureau of Legends was born, a video format conceived as an investigation into the figures who have shaped Rennes' history. The setup rests on an identifiable universe, with files, references, and a light-touch staging to tell the story of the bond between a club, its players, and its supporters in a different way. Paul-Georges Ntep takes on the central role, acting as a bridge between generations and an embodiment of the narrative. This creative choice gives depth to the 125th anniversary kit reveal, while establishing a brand narrative consistent with the context of the launch. By drawing on the theme of legend, SPK conceived a sports marketing activation that goes beyond a simple product statement to offer more embodied communications content, designed for digital and rooted in the identity of Stade Rennais FC.
